Program
Our aim is to make the conference as interactive as possible. Therefore, the main program type during the day will be workshops interrupted by small impulse lectures. In the evenings, there will be social programs happening.
The Day before der Conference
Der Larp Conference officially starts on Friday 10 January 2025.
If you travel long distances to the event, you can arrive the night before for some get together and anticipation for a weekend full of awesomeness.
Thursday, 9th of January 2025 is not part of the official program, but we are looking into organising some optional activities for early arrivers.
Day Time Program
Workshops
Workshops are the main part of our design. These may include short introductory presentations, but should if possible always include a major part where participants can either gain new knowledge, learn new skills or share best practices e.g.
We have 2 smaller workshop rooms and one bigger room, so usually there will be max. 3 workshops happening simultaneously. Each workshop can have between 5-20 participants, depending who is interested in what most.
In between the workshop slots there will be breaks and keynotes happening to enter a new round of topics.
Talks
Even though we aim for practical content, there will also be room for a number of keynote presentations with a maximum length of 20 minutes.
These will be curated by the organisation team and held in the great hall in between the workshop slots.
Open Space
During the whole conference, one room will be available for open space content.
Open space means that every participant can bring a program item to run in this space or spontaneously, during the conference come up with new content items.
Evening Activities
Friday Games night
We all love to play games – otherwise, why would we be here?
The main part of the program will not include playing complete games, but on Friday night, we will offer a whole night of gaming.
This can include short form larps, free form games, tabletop roleplaying, social games like Werewolf or other types of related activities.
Saturday Night Party – 50 Shades of Larp
There is a larp for everyone everywhere, and if there is none, we want to create one.
So, our motto is 50 Shades of Larp.
Bring your craziest larp costumes, go traditional fantasy or space opera or try out something completely different. Wear that costume you never had a chance to wear (again)!
Additionally to the main party in the great hall there will be room for 1 hour room parties: a concept originated from from the Nordic Larp conference Knutepunkt (or Knudepunkt/Knutpunkt/Solmukohta, depending in which country it happens) where there is a specific theme party for exactly 1 hour, and then the party is over and a new party with a new theme will start.

Sunday After Party – Friendship forever
After a weekend full of new inputs, we want to fade out with another party under the motto “friendship forever”.
Over the course of the weekend, we bonded over shared experiences and created new ideas and projects together, so we want to celebrate the most important thing in our community: us!
There will be room for larp announcements, larp stories, social games, deep talks (we will provide exemplary questions) and dancing to guilty pleasures.
Just enjoy our last evening together!
